My friends just opened a cowering space in the lovely rural town of Sequim, WA. Clallam Coworking ("the COW") is a place where you can rent a work station and equipment and work or study (or network!). This is the first time I've done promo photography of this type, and it was fun! Of course it helps when the place is painted in gorgeous natural pigments and late afternoon sun streams in through the windows...
I did some promotional photography for my friend's Aikido dojo. This was my first exposure to this beautiful form of movement. And an amazing studio to work in, with lovely natural light and superbly dynamic and graceful subjects. Check them out! In Sequim, WA.
My delightful friends are expecting!! It was absolutely thrilling to photograph this powerful, strong woman and her partner, and all the love that emanates from them both.
We had a cold windy day at Chetzemoka park for our photo session--Helena was a total trooper, and picked the most amazing spots for her photos.
Just a few of the candid images, of friends and strangers, I've captured in my travels, both local and abroad, over the past few years
We carefully scheduled this photoshoot during a break in what was otherwise a relatively stormy winter day here in Port Townsend. The sun came out, but the wind was howling! The wind in her hair made for some quite glamorous shots, don't you think?
McKenzie plays football for Sequim High School, is a trombone-playing drum major, and is a complete gentleman. Honored to get to know this young man and capture these images.
So wonderful to work with Lindsey and Max and capture this beautiful and exciting time in the life of their family!!
Senior portrait session with this young man!! That late summer sun was absolutely perfect. What a gorgeous day.
What a pleasure to photograph this beautiful spirited mama!! Congratulations to Lucy & Sam!!
I had a blast working with Rachel to obtain images for her to use on her website and other professional material. She is an amazing, dynamic woman, and probably has some tools that could help you! Check her out here.
One of my favorite things is working with families. There is always so much going on, and the different interactions between different individuals can come through so beautifully on camera.
Here is a sampling of some of the work I've done for high school seniors. Claire, Micah and Ellie.
